OUR EDUCATIONAL AND PEDAGOGICAL PHILOSOPHY
Our philosophy places the child at the center of the entire educational journey.
Every child is different, every child has specific needs, every child has talents to develop.
We are attentive to these differences by offering personalized educational assistance aimed at building the wholeness of the person. The child is considered as an integrated being respecting all its parts, thus capable of building a meaningful and balanced relationship between themselves and the surrounding environment, contributing to the formation of a complete, free, and balanced personality while always respecting the developmental rhythms and psychological characteristics of each child.

We rely on the Functional Model of developmental growth. This model adopts a spherical view, in which all functional processes contribute equally to the organization and structuring of the Self. The Functional Model of developmental growth is attentive to the overall progress of all psychophysical planes as all functions are congruent with each other and it conceives the child as a competent being from birth.
The service, in order to achieve the set objectives and goals, will not follow a rigid or schematic programming but will be oriented towards a particular flexibility since our belief considers the child as a being in continuous evolution subject to constant changes.
It will therefore be the task of the educational team to adapt activities and routines to the psychophysical development needs of the little guests.
At the nursery POPPY:
the CHILD is listened to, respected, valued for their individuality and family history
the CHILD learns from the direct experience of free play, workshops, studios, or structured activities.
The activities are organized for homogeneous groups by age and stage of development, based on the principle that children each require different and specific care, educational interventions, life rhythms, activities, and games:
- Infants from 3 months to about 12 months: the separate space has been specifically created and designed to be welcoming, and includes a dedicated bathroom, a space for lunch and snacks, an activity space, and a rest area.
- Toddlers from 12 months to about 36 months: a colorful and welcoming space capable of offering structured play moments and free play to allow each child to experiment freely and safely.
