The BEST organizes and offers its students the opportunity to enhance and personalize their educational experience by optionally choosing to attend specific Extra-Curricular Courses after school hours.

The Extra-Curricular Courses are organized with the help of qualified professionals and organizations in their respective fields, in order to ensure the highest quality of service offered and to connect with entities that can provide support and training in specific areas for our children, even outside the courses organized for them. All proposed activities take place at the BEST premises (except for swimming).

AT THE POPPY KINDERGARTEN

JUDO The project's ultimate goal is to introduce young children to the discipline of judo, which allows for harmonious development of the body structure, generates inner security, diffuses aggression and restlessness, and fosters a respectful attitude towards opponents.

SWIMMING Swimming is one of the pillars for the physical and psychological education of our children, as well as being a "mandatory step" for individual safety or to begin competitive sports practice.

DANCE Giocodanza This is a body experimentation activity characterized by an educational environment where the child is encouraged to learn to experience the body alongside the mind, where they can cultivate the main motor activities always linked to their exuberance (running - jumping - crawling...), expressing their motor skills in a personal and joyful way.

EMOTIONAL / RELATIONAL PSYCHOMOTORITY Psychomotority is an activity that allows children to experiment, play, and express themselves through the body and movement. The room is set up to create an environment that stimulates the child to invent and experience countless motor experiences with playmates and the psychomotrician, who ensures a safe and serene atmosphere. During the activity, the child learns to know themselves and their limits, to overcome fears and emotional conflicts, discovering the pleasure of expressing themselves, communicating, and thinking.

GROUP MUSIC Children are immediately involved in playing some instruments (mainly percussion and simple wind instruments in the early years, followed by string instruments) in a context of "playing together." This approach ensures great interest from the child and excellent results, allowing for greater learning of all the values inherent in music: fun, self-control, and sharing with peers.

SWIMMING Swimming, one of the pillars for the physical and psychological education of our children, is managed by the A.S.D.L. Syncro School association at the Vigone swimming pool in Turin (with private round-trip bus service from school).

JUDO Judo allows girls and boys to develop their physical and motor skills, helping them manage their energies while building self-esteem and self-control.

CHESS The enthusiasm with which the children followed the 10 chess lessons conducted during school hours led us to plan an "afternoon with the Kings." Chess plays an important educational role by engaging various attentions and memories, and thought processes in the multifaceted nature of its aspects (intuitions and deductions, abstractions, use of different languages and intelligences) predominantly non-verbal.

MINI BASKETBALL This year, a new engaging and educational sport is being introduced, entrusted to experts in the field for the promotion of teamwork and the motor skills involved in this game.

INTRODUCTION TO ARTISTIC AND RHYTHMIC GYMNASTICS included among this year's proposals aims to be an introduction to these fascinating sports disciplines, focusing on their capacity for bodily expression that involves multiple skills, coordination and control of movement, flexibility, and balance.

CREATE-ACTIVITY is a workshop organized and led by the Art Teacher, which, in a program designed for age groups, offers creative activities that help children express themselves using multiple techniques and ensuring the gratifying creation of a product in which their abilities are recognized.

AR-TI-AMO after last year's success, continues the proposal of drawing workshops structured in modules of 4 lessons, for a maximum of 8 students, dedicated to fourth and fifth-grade classes, on themes such as portrait, landscape, colors, watercolor, and much more...

MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS Musical education represents a fundamental element for the education and training of children. To this end, individual lessons in Guitar and Piano are activated, conducted by our highly qualified teachers.
